Mortimore

Jim Mortimore is a musician, composer, DJ, engineer and producer. He has worked
with Herbie Flowers, Chip Taylor, PP Arnold, Geoff Muldaur, Arthur Brown, Big
Sugar, Turning Green, Shona Foster, My Rocket 88. Jim co-produced, mixed, played
electric and acoustic guitars on 'Act of Faith'. Jim is also a composer of music
for fringe film and theatre productions, Lyric theatre london being one of his
recent credits.
Malcolm Mortimore has worked with Gentle Giant, Ian Dury, Paul Butterfield,
Arthur Brown, Flaco Jimenez, Barney Kessel, Charlie Byrd, Van Morrisson and
Neil Diamond. Malcolm has been playing with Chris for ten years and in that
time Chris has made three C.D.'s, Act of Faith being the third. Malcolm has
played Drums and Percussion on all.
Charlie Hart plays fiddle, accordion, keyboards and bass instruments inspired
by blues, jazz and African music. He has worked with Alexis Korner, Ian Dury,
Ronnie Lane, Eric Clapton and Charlie Watts. He produced Orchestra Virunga and
Diz and the Doormen, composed music for the Oscar-nominated animated film Triangle
and appeared in the feature film Stormy Monday.
Chris Jagger made two records for Billy Gaff and David Geffen in the 1970's.
Since 1994 he has recorded 4 albums containing strong and original songs. Forget
the comparisons, his ability as a singer, frontman and writer cannot be doubted
and 2006 finds him busier than ever. Chris works with his band 'Atcha!' and
sometimes with smaller acoustic lineups, when not engaged in rural pursuits.
Musician and composer Paul Emile has worked with Herbie Flowers, Gasper Lawal,
Shola Akingbola, Papa Wemba and Kanda Bongo Man. He has a passion for West African
music, Blues & Soul, Funk, and anything with a groove. Paul is a composer of
music for fringe film and theatre productions, and is a co-directer of Musical
Moves, a community music and performance company that works with socially and
economiclly disadvantaged young people. He has toured three and recorded two
of Chris' last albums, including 'Act of Faith'.
